Welcome to the University of Chicago Math Club
Home of the UChicago math community since 1914.
About
The math club hosts frequent professor talks, study breaks, as well as miscellaneous events throughout the year. Our talks range from beginner-friendly, to advanced, and from abstract to applied.
Events to look forward to include: our annual Even Prime Day; Student lecture/events, such as last year's Knot or Not?; and Flash Talks
Aside from the above, we host weekly problem-solving sessions, in preparation for the annual William Lowell Putnam Memorial Competition. For more information, see here.
The events are for everyone and anyone interested in math.
Upcoming Meetings
Unless otherwise stated, all meetings are to take place in Eckhart 203 (not EckharDt!). If you can sign-up/in for each event, that would be great!
Our programming will start again next quarter -- have a relaxing break, and see you in winter!
For information about past speaker events, see here.
