I am currently a Ph.D. student in mathematics at the University of Chicago, studying algebraic geometry under Madhav Nori and Izzet Coskun. I graduated from Duke University with a B.S. in mathematics (minors: computer science and philosophy).
My non-mathematical pursuits include choral singing and my Christian faith. (These often go well together.)
Neither of my parents has much interest in mathematics. My mother is a retired P.E. teacher; my father, an artist.
