Paris Mathematics Program

We have a study-abroad program in Paris held in the spring quarter each year!

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were not able to host the 2020 and 2021 programs. We hope to be able to return in 2022, but the exact course descriptions are not available at this time. Here are the course descriptions for the Paris Mathematics Program 2019

To see a full description of the program, and to apply, go to the Paris Mathematics page on the university's Study Abroad website. There is no need to get a recommendation; we do not require them for this program. We will evaluate your application by considering your math background and your overall transcript.

The courses that we offer in Paris are special electives that are not normally offered in Hyde Park. All of them may be counted as courses from the Approved List in any of our mathematics degree programs. In order to be eligible to participate in the Paris Program, you must have completed one of the analysis sequences, Math 20250, and either Math 25700 or Math 25400.
