I am L. E. Dickson Instructor (postdoc) in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Chicago. I completed my PhD at the University of Michigan in April 2023, advised by Ralf Spatzier.
I am interested in differential geometry and its generalizations, particularly spaces of non-positive curvature. I am also interested in dynamics, especially insofar as it relates to the study of geodesic flows.
I defended my thesis, entitled "Closed geodesics and stability of negatively curved metrics," in March 2023. Here are the slides from my defense.
