About me
I am a sixth year graduate student at the University of Chicago working under the supervision of Marianna Csornyei. My primary area of research is geometric measure theory. I am also interested in its connections to other fields such as harmonic analysis and the recently discovered connection to the theory of computing. Here is my CV .

I strongly believe in the axioms by Federico Ardila:
Axiom 1. Mathematical talent is distributed equally among different groups, irrespective of geographic, demographic, and economic boundaries.
Axiom 2. Everyone can have joyful, meaningful, and empowering mathematical experiences.
Axiom 3. Mathematics is a powerful, malleable tool that can be shaped and used differently by various communities to serve their needs.
Axiom 4. Every student deserves to be treated with dignity and respect.
Current teaching
In fall 2024, I am teaching Calculus I (Math 151)

Spring 2023 - Linear Algebra (MATH 196).
Winter 2023 - Calculus II (MATH 152).
Fall 2022 - Calculus II (MATH 152).
Winter 2022 - Elementary Functions and Calculus II (MATH 132).
Fall 2021 - Elementary Functions and Calculus I (MATH 131).
Mentorship and Outreach
I have regularly mentored undergrads through UChicago's REU and DRP.
During the Covid Pandemic while schools were shut down, I taught math to Kashmiri high school students.
The Kashmiri word for moon is "zoon". We Kashmiris often extend names when we call each other, I call my beautiful cat "Zooni". Zooni was born on the streets of Chicago in late Sept, 2022. She adopted me on Dec 10th, 2022. She is incredibly loving, playful and mischevious. She enjoys eating duck meat and tuna. Her favorite treat is delectables. Her hobbies include watching birds, chasing insects and playing with her toys. Here are some pictures of Zooni and her friends, feline and human.
