Every second-year grad student at UChicago has to write a 'topic proposal'. Here's mine.
For a first-year grad course in differential topology, I also wrote this introduction to characteristic classes.
Outside of math, I like to do lots of other things: rock climbing, playing the piano, writing music, reading fiction and non-fiction (especially history), learning languages, etc....
I have a very scant history blog that I may add to occasionally.
I may in the future upload some music I've written. For now here's one of several I wrote for Yale's undergrad game studio, Amoriem Labs. (Somebody else did the great chip-tune mixing.)
Here's the germ of a book recommendation list, mostly focused on historical nonfiction.
I studied ancient Akkadian and Sumerian in undergrad. If you want a huge anki deck of vocabulary and cuneiform signs, email me for it.
