I mostly go to the climbing gyms around Chicago. If you're in town for a conference, maybe we could go together!

I may in the future upload some music I've written. For now here's one of several I wrote for Yale's undergrad game studio, Amoriem Labs. (Somebody else did the great chip-tune mixing.)

I also have a very scant history blog that I may add to occasionally.

My usual haunt is Colorado, in the Elk/Sawatch range, and the San Juans are great, too. If you're up for a long day, I love the Four Pass Loop. Electric pass is another favorite and a bit more manageable.

I have also hiked/backpacked at least a bit in the US in the Utah, Arizona, New Hampshire, Wyoming, and Oregon. Internationally, I've walked up mountains in Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Italy, France, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, and South Africa. At some point in the future, I'll link to a page with photos I've taken, annotated with where I was.

I feel reasonably comfortable doing many (but not all) things in Spanish. Thusfar in life, I have also put serious efforts into learning Swedish, Modern Standard Arabic, Mandarin, German, Akkadian, and Sumerian. When you read this, my proficiency in these languages may be in varying states of rust. In particular, I studied ancient Akkadian and Sumerian in undergrad. If you want a huge anki deck of vocabulary and cuneiform signs, email me for it.

There are probably things I forgot - who knows what they could be!
