Dr. Friedman is regarded as the world's foremost authority on models explaining how hormone receptors affect prostate cancer. Author of numerous articles about the relationship between hormones, hormone receptors, and disease, he earned his B.A. at Brown University and a Ph.D. in Biophysics and Theoretical Biology from the University of Chicago, where he currently works.
