This is the website for Algebra II (first-year graduate algebra) in winter 2023.
Time and place: MWF 11:30am-12:20pm, Eckhart 308.
Office hours: After class on Monday (12:30-2pm) in my office (Eckhart 326), or by appointment.
The purpose of this course is to give an introduction to some aspects of algebraic geometry (over an algebraically closed field) and commutative algebra. A full syllabus is available on Canvas.
