These pages are constantly under construction. Not attending class is not an excuse. -TR
Try out experimental web pages on functions and the epsilon-delta . Now there is a page on the derivative.
The first exam was given during class
on Friday, January 22 1999.
It was a 50-minute exam, covering chapter 1 and sections 2.1-2.5 inclusive.
The final exam will be given this Thursday from 4-6pm.
If you have a dvi-viewer (see below) then you can see the practice test,
along with solutions.
If not, then you can look at the ugly HTML version of the
answers.
For more information about exams and final grades see the handout above.
Here are some handouts relevant to this class. From my 131 class from Autumn 1994, there were some homework assignments.
The following pages require a latex-dvi reader. If there is any interest, then I will make post-script files available.
WARNING: The following are assignments and exams from long, long ago,
in a place
far, far away. Moreover, they do not necessarily reflect
the current views or assignments
of this teacher, or this class.
There is a true story involving the chain rule, a pratice sheet for derivatives, and a practice sheet for integrals. This class also received several practice quizes.
Of course, this class also received some exams.
