The Directed Reading Program is an initiative to pair undergraduate students with graduate student and junior faculty mentors to undertake independent study projects of various sizes and scopes. Undergraduates can apply for DRP positions and those who are selected will be paired with mentors according to their mathematical interests and availability.

Dates for presentations for the Fall 2009 — 2010 DRP are Wednesday January 6 (6:30 p.m. onwards in Eckhart 206) (OVER) and Tuesday January 12 (6 p.m. onwards in Eckhart 206). Preferences of the participants have been collected and a tentative schedule of who is presenting when has been sent to the participants.
Pairings for Winter 2009 — 2010 have been created and an email with the pairing information has been sent to participants. The orientation was held on January 6. Students and mentors should have met and started discussing their project by now.
