Description of course:
This course will be an introduction to Algebraic Geometry,
focussing on the geometry of curves.
Topics to be covered (if time allows):
- Affine and Projective plane curves
- Bezout's theorem
- Points of inflection
- Multiplication law on an elliptic curve
- Riemann-Hurwitz formula
- Riemann-Roch
