About Me

I'm a sixth-year graduate student in the math department at the University of Chicago. I will be finishing my Ph.D in June 2017. My work lies at the juncture of low-dimensional topology and geometry, making connections with the theory of classifying spaces and with complex algebraic geometry. Specifically, I study the connections between surface bundles, the mapping class group, and moduli spaces of Riemann surfaces.

My advisor is Benson Farb.

Here is my CV.
